The Job As a support engineer you will successfully participate to the development and the deployment of the IP Trade's products line targeting financial institutions and command/control/dispatching centers. You will join a team of talented and experienced telecommunication engineers operating in a state of the art and innovative technological environment. The profile Based in London, you play a key role in the installation and the roll out of IP Trade product to its customers in the U.K. market.
Combining a strong expertise in VoIP deployments and in IP Trade solution, you participate to the design of the telecommunication infrastructure for the trading room and ensure the correct integration of the IP Trade systems within the customer voice network. This task is carried out in collaboration with the pre-sales department and the local integrator in charge of the project. Potentially, you provide support and help to the local integrator team regarding the configuration of the IP Trade components during on-site installation.
You ensure the daily follow-up of the installed base i.e. 3rd-layer support level by answering phone call and e-mail from customers/partners and potentially troubleshooting on-site.
You finally ensure the training and the certification of new partners on IPTrade solutions.
Requirements - Most relevant appreciated skills
- Expert in Cisco voice technologies – holder of a CCNA/CCVP certification – or equivalent in Avaya voice networks
- 3-5 years experience in supporting VoIP communication systems for the banking sector
- Understanding of the trading environment and associated needs
- A past experience in supporting TDM-based solution is a plus
- Strong self-motivator and pro-active attitude
- Adaptive, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good social contacts, team player
- English fluent speaking/writing, other languages is a plus
- Be ready to operate in an international environment with potential abroad traveling
