Trading turret provider IP Trade is looking to increase its market presence in Europe.
As a result, IP Trade is partnering with systems integrator Eliofaber Srl to build its Italian business and begin directly selling in the country, says Christopher Corridon, global head of marketing and managing director for North America at IP Trade.
Eliofaber, chosen for its local expertise, will function as a reseller for IP Trade, Corridon tells Waters.
Also, as part of its expansion, IP Trade announced the appointment of Joachim Huber as country manager for Germany. In this role he will lead the financial and command-and-control market sectors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Huber has about 20 years of business development and sales experience in the communications industry.
Company chief executive office Jean-Francois Geys said the company has a renewed focus on Europe.
“We already have had significant customer wins in England, France, Ireland and Luxembourg, and with our increased focus in Europe, we expect 50 percent revenue growth in the region in 2016,” said Geys, in a statement.
Geys added that the current industry climate in Europe, including the recent decision of the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, “is a perfect time to intensify our efforts and increase investment in Europe.”
